Dress Standard
All Students: Must wear dance shoes and ballroom t-shirt every week. You can purchase Dance Shoes for $50 & Tshirt for $10. Please make sure you are clean so that you won’t make your partner pass out! Wear deodorant but please, NO PERFUMES OR COLOGNES! Some people are allergic to them and it is hard to dance near someone when you can’t breathe!
Young Men: Wear slacks that fit well on the waist but are flexible in the leg. All team men are required to wear compression shorts to class and performances. Knee length shorts and exercise pants may also be worn. Young Women: Please do not wear clothing that is excessively tight or revealing. No bare bellies, shoulders, or back. (that means that you need to get a nice size of t-shirt that covers everything. You will not cut part of it off). Absolutely no cleavage. Skirts and shorts may not be shorter than knee length. If you are wearing a skirt, you need to have leggings on underneath that are knee length. Pants that are worn should be flexible and not excessively tight as it is inappropriate and reduces movement. No Jeans. *If you are a part of a Lift Class or any type of Cabaret, you are required to wear a leotard underneath your clothing for modesty and safety purposes both during class and for performances. |
